I've lived here about 3 years now. No real complaint. Parking is not the best, but what place has enough parking. They do a lot of stuff for the kids & the employees are all down to earth.
Pros: Good place to live & quite quiet. Beautiful scenery & lots of events held for the children by the office staff. Absolutely love the young lady Marshay that works in the office since shes always smiling & bubbly every time I see her, even if just in the parking lot or if I just stop by. Cons: The apartments could be a little bit bigger but for the comfort & scenery I've decided to stay another year longer. Parking can sometimes be a little of a hassle also since we don't have assigned parks but for the most part people tend to get used to who parks where.
I have to say from the young ladies in the office to the maintenance, the team is just wonderful. Coming from NYS the transistion ran very smoothly. Katrina, who helped me, the most, was patient, courteous and so helpful. Applying, paperwork, contracts was the easiest I have ever dealt with. The grounds are beautiful, along with all the amenities. My apartment was move in ready, just beautiful. I want to Thank the staff at Arboretum Place in helping me with my new beautiful home.
If you are looking for the perfect place to call home, this is your spot. I absolutely love it here. Marshay and the ladies in the office are a dream. I always feel welcomed and appreciated. I am always greeted by name with a smile. The maintenance team Bill & John are the best.....the grounds are immaculate and they respond immediately to any request. I feel safe, appreciated, and respected. I love having a gym on site and the pool is fabulous in the summer. I am proud to call this home and you should too!
From the day we took our initial tour, we knew this is where we wanted to live! The grounds are always maintained and beautiful and it's a perfect location to get to shops and restaurants! The staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful apartment staff I have ever experienced! Anytime we needed maintenance assistance, they were there and had the issue fixed quickly. Living at Arboretum place has been such a great experience!!
I have been here for 2 years and I just renewed my lease for another 12 months. I leased all the way from California with Marshay who was very patient and helpful. I would not trade this community for any other as long as I'm in Newport News. I always look forward to the community events; especially during the summer months. I recently went to the memorial day pool party and had a blast!!! The office is inviting and I love how the staff treats my son. He always goes to the office on fridays for treats. The maintenance is always on point and friendly when they enter my apartment. They even cover their shoes because my wife is so picky.lol. Cheers to another year!
It's a nice poperty
Peaceful, neighborly atmosphere Love this community from the location to the grounds keeping, amenities, customer service of staff convenience of local restaurants, retail stores, and attractions
It's ok for a temporary time I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that wants to live there more than 2 years.
I love living here compared to other places I've lived in. The staff are excellent always available the grounds are kept clean and always available for you.
Great place to live Only downfall is that I work nights and sometimes come home at strange hours. There have been some nights where parking is so full I have to park near the rental building, my apartment is at the very back.
I drove by. Its 3 places in the court but I really liked the vibe I got in the Arboretum office. The ladies were very down to earth and I appreciate their honesty. I can't afford what I want, the Dogwood, but I know I would enjoy living here and dealing with those ladies. I apologize for not remembering both their names but Kaqeeta toured me. 2 thumbs up
